Lillian Neukircher died on January 16, 2014 at Concordia Care Center, Bella Vista, Arkansas, formally of Jamestown, ND, at the age of 91 years 2 months and 8 days.

Lillian Frieda Mulfinger was born at home near Cleveland, ND to Jacob and Elizabeth (Burow) Mulfinger on November 8, 1922. She grew up on the farm and attended rural Greer School. She worked in Jamestown, ND as a housekeeper for a few years and then went to Tacoma, WA where she worked in an egg candling plant. She also worked at Boeing working on the B17 and B29 bombers.

She married Richard Neukircher on July 15, 1945 at St. Johns Lutheran Church. They farmed southeast of Medina, ND where Lillian worked side by side with her husband farming. They retired after 40 years on the farm and moved into Jamestown, ND.

Lillian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Jamestown. In August of 2011, Lillian decided to move to Arkansas to get away from the North Dakota cold.

Lillian is survived by two sons and a daughter. Kenneth & Dianna (Mennen) from Chaska, MN. Stanley & Melodee (Marth) from Bella Vista, AR and Donna Spina from Fort Wayne, IN. She is survived by four granddaughters, Carolyn Latorrez (Edwin) of Fort Wayne, IN, Shelly Neukircher of Powell, OH, Cindy Neukircher of Brooklyn Park, MN and Teena Garrido (Adan) of Chaska, Minnesota. There are five great granddaughters, Melissa Meriwether (Tony), Mariah Messmann, Adriana Messmann of Fort Wayne, IN; Steffany and Dianna Garrido of Chaska, MN. Great Grandsons are Joseph Dodge and Diego Garrido of Chaska, MN. Great great granddaughter Jaeda Meriwether and great great grandson Oliver Messmann-Tudor both of Fort Wayne, IN. One sister Lucille Silzly of Missoula, MT and one brother David (Mary) Mulfinger of Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband Richard on December 6, 1995, her parents Jacob & Elizabeth Mulfinger, one sister, Elizabeth Fairfield, and two brothers, William & Henry Mulfinger.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday April 30, 2014 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND with Pastor Bryce Tahran, officiating.

The Interment will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Jamestown, ND.
