Our sincere sympathy on Laura's passing. She has now rejoined those family members who have gone on before her and we know she is smiling with great joy. She always referred to Ed as her other brother; we enjoyed our visits with her and sharing ice cream and cookies when we could.

may god wrap you in his arms and give you peace and comfort in this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of helping with Laura's care over several years and got to know her. she was an amazing woman. funny and sarcastic but most of all caring. I could always count on getting a big smile whenever I went to see her. she will definitely be missed.

One of my favorite memories of Laura was that every year when we traveled as a family to visit, she was always waiting by the window, looking for us and ready to announce our arrival. Over the years it got to be a game with us kids and Laura, trying to sneak in undetected. Of course, Laura always caught us and we all got a big kick out of that. I take solace in the fact that Laura is whole again and rejoicing in the Kingdom. And as I type this I can't help but smile, thinking that when my day comes, she will be there, big smile, ready to announce my arrival, excited as ever to be together. Dixie and I will continue to pray for peace and comfort for all of us in this time of loss.
