Joyce Job

Joyce Job, 71, Jamestown, ND died Monday afternoon December 23, 2019 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Joyce McCarty was born August 18, 1948 at Carson, ND the daughter of Daniel R. McCarty and Regina Ternes.  She her education in the local school.   At a young age she moved with her parents to Jamestown.   She worked in the Kitchen at the Pizza Plaza in Jamestown.  She continued to reside in Jamestown and entered Ave Maria Village on June 18, 2012.

Joyce enjoyed playing Uno, going for wheel chair rides, being outside, reading groups and people watching.  She would like to give some of the staff at Ave Maria a hard time, then she would give a little grin.   Her favorite color is purple.

She is survived by 1 brother, Thomas McCarty, Albuquerque, MN; Janice McCarty, Wimbledon, ND; Jeanette (Mike) Grabinger, Jamestown, ND; many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 1 niece Christina,

Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Friday December 27, 2019 in Good Shepherds Chapel at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND with Deacon Ken Votava, officiating.

Interment will be made in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation – 1 hour before services on Friday.
