Jeannine Nitschke, 90, Jamestown, ND died Monday November 23, 2020 at Eventide at Hi-Acres.

Jeannine was born August 2, 1930 at the family farm near Alfred, ND, the daughter of Otto and Emma (Klundt) Nitschke. She attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education and grew to womanhood.

She worked as a CNA at Bethel Four Acres for many years and retired in 1992. She continued to reside in Jamestown and entered Eventide at Hi-Acres in 2010.

Jeannine was a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Jamestown.

She is survived by 1 brother, Jerry Nitschke, KS; 2 sisters, Darlene (Norbert) Schlenker, Roseburg, OR, Karen (Lee) Sears, MO; and many nieces and nephews.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Larry, Milton, Dwight, Emmett, Kenneth; 3 sisters, Jermaine, Joyce and Carol.

One of the sweetest people you would ever meet! Every time I saw her she would have the biggest smile. Unfortunately busy life had gotten between us and we lost touch over the years except for family functions. But I can still hear the way she would say, hi Michael.

Jeannine was a wonderful person and a true blessing to our family while sharing a room with our Mom at Eventide (Gertrude Neys) She was always caring about those around her and had a perpetual smile on her face. RIP Jeannine

I just found out of Jeannines passing. I have to agree with Mike, Jeannine always had a smile on her face when she saw you. She had a heart of gold. So many memories of Jeannine. RIP cousin.
