Jane Kulla, 85, Jamestown, ND died Thursday, October 13, 2022 at SMP Health- Ave Maria in Jamestown.
Jane was born December 31, 1936 at Carrington, ND, the daughter of Charles Bruce Craven and Constance Alpha (Hansen) Craven. She attended school in Carrington and graduated from Carrington High School in 1955. She worked as an operator for Northwest Telephone for 5 years. Jane then worked at the Carrington Bakery in customer service for 2 years.
She and Edmund ‘Pete’ Kulla were married August 13, 1956 at Kensal, ND and made their home in Kensal where she was a housewife. Following the death of her husband, June 13, 1996. She continued to live in Kensal until moving to Jamestown.
Jane was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church, the Girl Scouts, church choir, Legion Auxiliary. She also loved to go to the casinos, dance and decorate her home. Jane also did crafts and traveled to many craft shows in the area
Jane is survived by her children, Jay Kulla, Fargo, ND; Alane (Doug) Wynkoop, Highland Village, TX; Rick (Janell) Kulla, Columbus, MT; Debra (Randy) Vikre, Bemidji, MN; Ruth (Joe) Gourneau, Aberdeen, SD; 8 grandchildren, Trishia, Tyler, Krista, Dylan, Zackary, Joseph, Kasie, and Jessica; 6 great grandchildren, Owen, Maverick, Marleigh, Micah, Charlize and Beckett.
She was preceded death by her parents, her husband, and 1 infant daughter, Joan Kulla, her brother Jerry Craven, and special friend Arlon Rott.
