I did not know aunt Jane too well growing up because we saw the family every couple years when they came to North Dakota to visit. That changed when Jane and Gene moved to North Dakota. They were at Mom and Dad's for a family get together when Dick and I informally announced our engagement in 1977. I went to visit Jane and Gene as much as I could. I will miss Jane. Her, Mom and aunt Clarice were the three rummage sale queens. They are reunited now.

Dear, Terrance, Doug, Darwin, Lanell and Sheryl, I just wanted to send my condolences to you all on the passing of your Mom. It seems so hard to believe that it has been over 40 years since your family moved to Gales Ferry and became such awesome neighbors. I have very fond memories of your Mom and what a wonderful woman she was. I still occasionally crave her beef and cheese rolled in tortillas. I remember eating those by the handful. Your Mom always made me feel welcomed in your home. I hope that warm and loving memories of your Mom will help to comfort you all during this difficult time. Wishing your family peace and serenity; Now and forever! Ron
