James Nowell

James (Jim) Nowell age 62, of New Town, ND, passed away September 4, 2021 at Trinity Health in Minot, ND from battling sepsis and Covid-19.

James was born March 1, 1959 in Huron, SD to Shirley and Don Nowell. He graduated from Goodrich High School in 1977. After that he married his true love Bonnie in 1980, and had three daughters.

He enjoyed collecting many different things, movies, guns, and knives are just a few examples. He loved old cars and trucks, and beefing up the engines. He was willing to pass on his knowledge to anyone willing to learn.

James is survived by his wife, Bonnie, and his daughters Teresa (Mike), Amy (Eric), and Cassie (Luann). His mother Shirley, his Pops Allen, and his five siblings, Anita (Kevin), Cindy (Jay), June (Garold), Tom (Suzie), and Jerry (Shanon). Grandchildren, Trystin, Gage, Dreyton, and Donna. Step grandchildren Tina, Charlene, Chris, and Anna Belle, and 7 step great grandchildren.  Along with many nieces, nephews, his dog Thunder and brat cat Jersey.
