Obituary

Helen Walker Fisk, 93, Jamestown, ND died Monday afternoon August 9, 2010 at the Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Helen Greenshields was born June 20, 1917 at Fargo, ND, the daughter of Frank and Susan (Ritchie) Greenshields. She attended school in Fargo and graduated from Fargo High School in 1935. She attended North Dakota State University and graduated in 1939 with a degree in Home Economics.
She taught school in New England and Fessenden until 1941.

She and Allen Fisk were married June 30, 1942 at Fargo, ND. They made their home in various communities around North Dakota where she was a housewife. In 1960 they moved to Silver Springs, MD. In 1962 they moved to Lincoln, NE until 1973 when they moved to Bismarck, ND. Following the death of her husband in 2000, she continued to live in Bismarck until December of 2007 when she entered the Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Susan Fisk, Edina, MN: Sally (Keith) Domke, Jamestown, ND: 6 grandchildren, Walker Canarsky, Kari (Patrick) Fisk-Lee, Allen Fisk, Daniel Fisk, Nichole Domke, Dawson Domke, 1 great granddaughter, Quinn Lee, and 1 sister, Jane Bibelheimer, Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 son, Scott, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

The memorial service will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday August 13, 2010 at the Haut Funeral Chapel in Jamestown, ND, with Rev. David Bambas, officiating.

The interment will be made in the Hunter Cemetery at Hunter, ND, Saturday August 14, 2010.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I can't thank you enough for letting us take care of your mother/grandmother/sister/aunt. I am thankful that I got to know Helen. She held a special spot in my heart. I am going to miss her. Sorry I can't attend the funeral but I will be thinking of all of you. Helen loved you all so dearly. She always talked about you all. Sending our deep sympathy to the family. I {Evelyn{, was a neighbor of the Fisk family near Hunter, so got to know all the family thru the years. Have not seen Helen in a long time, but remember her well. May God bless all of you at this time, and remember all the memories of her through the years. She was a great person.
