Helen L. Doeling, 104, Jamestown, ND died Saturday October 14, 2023 at SMP Health Ave Maria in Jamestown, ND.
Helen was born January 20, 1919 at Enderlin, ND, the daughter of Ernst and Emilia (Freiheit) Hofmann. She attended school and graduated from Enderlin High School in 1935. She attended Valley City State College and later graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in teaching. She taught at various schools in MN/ND.
She and Noble F. Doeling were married September 11, 1944. They made their home on a farm near Enderlin. She taught for many years in the area.
Helen was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Cooperstown and the Eastern Star. She also volunteered in many organizations.
Helen is survived by 3 daughters, Connie (Bob) Jennings, McKinney, TX; Teresa Dramstad, Binford, ND; Alaine (Bob) Toso, Jamestown, ND; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1989, 1 daughter, Barbara Smith, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Burial will take place at a later date.
