Floyd Dorr, 73, Jamestown, ND died November 30, 2020 at Eventide in Jamestown, ND.

Floyd Dorr was born August 26, 1947 in Jamestown, ND the son of Rudolph Dorr and Magdalena (Dockter) Dorr.  He received his elementary education in the local school in Streeter where he resided and did various jobs.

In 1994 he moved to Jamestown, where he did tree cutting.  Following his retirement from tree cutting he has continued to reside in Jamestown.  He entered Rock of Ages in Jamestown for a short time before entering Eventide.

He attended Concordia Lutheran Church in Jamestown, ND. 

He is survived by many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.

Burial took place December 2, 2020 in the Neudorf Lutheran Cemetery, West of Gackle, ND.

Floyd, at times, was a hired man for us on our farm. He was very strong and always worked hard. He loved our family and we very much cared for him. Heaven will welcome this strong and good man.

Floyd was a friend of my parents, Roger and Kathy Block, and had helped cut down some of our trees. He was always pleasant and would joke around with us. My thoughts and prayers with the family during this difficult time.

I am sorry to have learned Floyds passing. Over the 25 years I knew Floyd, we often talked about the Lord and the Bible. Floyd was a trustworthy, unique person. Im glad I had the privilege of knowing him.
