Enoch Schlenker

Enoch Schlenker, 83, Alfred, ND died Sunday August 31, 2014 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres Manor in Jamestown, ND.

Enoch Chris Schlenker was born December 14, 1930 near Alfred, ND, the son of Chris and Pauline (Gohner) Schlenker. He attended the local rural school and Alfred Public school where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity.

He and Mary Ann Schelert were married October 23, 1966 at Toppenish, WA. They made their home on the farm east of Alfred where they farmed and ranched for many years.

He was a member of the Church of God Seventh-day in Alfred. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and just being busy outside. He loved spending time with family and especially birthdays.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, Alfred, ND; 4 children, Brian (Camie) Schlenker, Alfred, ND; Kelly (Martha) Schlenker, Jamestown, ND; Connie (Joseph) Griffeth, Kulm, ND; Jay Schlenker, Alfred, ND; and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
