Emma Jean O’Connor, 68, Streeter, ND died Thursday December 30, 2021 at her home in Streeter.

Emma Jean O'Connor born August 26th 1953 to Eva and Joseph Jerome. Emma Jean grew up in Belcourt ND. When she was 18 she moved to Fargo ND where she settled for most of her life. This is where she met her first husband Mike Ingberg with whom she had her 2 daughters Stacey Ericson and Jaime Bartig. They later divorce and she attended Interstate Business College while raising her 2 daughters and working full time.
She later married Vernon O'Connor in 2005 and moved out to Streeter ND in 2006. Her passion included spending time in her gazebo with her 2 dogs playing in the yard. Emma Jean battled a lot throughout her life the most recent being colon cancer in March of 2021. She fought real hard and overcame that obstacle and was diagnosed to be in remission in October 2021. Emma Jean was a strong and courageous woman, wife, and mother.
She got to spend her last day doing what she loved shopping running errands and spending time with her family. She went to sleep on Wednesday night with love in her heart and having a good day on her mind. She will forever be loved and missed by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband Vern O'Connor Streeter ND and 2 daughters Stacey (Jason) Ericson and Jaime (Ernie) Bartig Fargo ND.
Emma Jean is preceded in death by her parents Eva and Joseph Jerome and her two brothers Wendell and John Jerome.
It was Emma’s wishes to be cremated and no services held at this time.

Jaime, I have many memories of your mom over the years. I remember trouble I got into and going to your mom for help as I knew she wouldn\'t judge me too harshly. I am very sad to hear of her passing and I just want you to know she touched many lives over the years. Including defending my poor choices one night to my parents.
