Elizabeth Clemens

February 16, 1962 - August 03, 2025

Obituary

Elizabeth (Lisa) M. Clemens (62) of Burnsville, MN, formerly of Jamestown, ND was welcomed back into the arms of The Lord when she passed away unexpectedly early August 2025.

Lisa was born to Leo and Mary “Sally” (Gilronan) Clemens on February 16th, 1962. Elizabeth was the eldest of 4 children. She was raised Catholic and maintained her faith through her life. Lisa was born and raised in Jamestown, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1980. After high school, she attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, earning her bachelors degree in nursing. Lisa then went on to dedicate her life to caring for others. Ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, Lisa cared for everyone as family. Although Lisa was never married and had no children, her animals were treated as such. Lisa met her dog, Brandi at the gates of the rainbow bridge, but left behind her beloved cat, Chloe, here on Earth. Lisa was a huge supporter of her nieces and their accomplishments, always letting them know how proud of them she was and how loved they were. Lisa was such a loving and caring soul, always seeing the best in everyone.

Though she lived alone, Lisa was far from alone—cherished by friends, neighbors, and family. She had a special bond with all, whom brought great joy and companionship over the years.

Lisa is survived by her beloved cat, Chloe, brothers Tom (Lisa) Clemens and Michael (Nicole) Clemens, as well as her 3 nieces Alexa, Madison, and Hannah Clemens. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Mary “Sally” Clemens, brother John Clemens, and many aunts, uncles, and extended family members.

MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, 10 AM, at the Basilica of St. James, 622 1st Ave S, Jamestown, ND.

INTERMENT-Saturday, August 30, 2025, 11 AM, Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.

So sad to know that her light has dimmed here, but is renewed and bright again once again in the hands and presence of God. She will be missed.

Elizabeth was one of the most determined students of chemistry because she knew she wanted to be an RN. She was also one of the nicest people on the planet. May she rest in peace. My condolences to those who knew and loved her. Elizabeth, I hope to be more like you, you were very kind. May the road rise up to meet you...and the wind be always at your back ..
