Our deepest sympathy, our thoughts and prayers to the family. I loved spending time with Aunt Edna and I also remember spending time at the farm when they still lived there too.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Edna.Although I do not know the families personally,I did enjoy caring and taking her to activities at the nursing home. Gottfried and Edna were always my favorites to dress up for Halloween. So willing to participate for the children who came to trick or treat. They loved listening to me read to them. Such a loving couple who I will miss dearly. May you rest in peace.

Thank you for the kind words you have said in remembrance of my grandmother Edna. She was such a wonderful lady and will be deeply missed. Her passing is bittersweet -- she leaves us behind but gets to reunite with my mom once again (Karen), my brother and sister, as well as gpas Gideon and Gottfried. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to write something - it is greatly appreciated.

Dear Family, Losing a loved one can be devastating. However, please take comfort in knowing that death isn't the end. Jesus demonstrated that by what he did when his friend Lazarus died while he was on earth. The account recorded in John 11 shows that to those who were with him when he got the news, Jesus said: "Lazarus has falling asleep and I am going to awaken him". And just as he stated, the account reveals that Jesus went to the grave where Lazarus was already buried for four days. When he got there, he called Lazarus, who came out from the grave like he was never dead. This account teaches us that the dead aren't in heaven with those who passed away before them. They're simply resting and awaiting the fulfillment of the resurrection promise Jesus himself made in John 5: 28. The Bible shows that what Jesus did in Lazarus' case was a preview of what he'll do when he rules the earth as King of God's Heavenly Kingdom/Government. (Daniel 7: 13 and 14); (Daniel 2:44) When that times comes, the Bible shows that the righteous can be reunited with their resurrected loved ones here on earth, which will become a paradise they will inherit and live on forever under perfect conditions (Psalm 37: 9-11 and 29, (John 5: 28 and 29).
