Obituary

Delbert Darren Diegel, 48, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2019.

Delbert was born October 30, 1970 the son of Delmar and Deloris (Soria) Diegel in Milk River, Alberta, Canada.   He grew up in Wishek, ND and attended school in the area.  He was a bee keeper for 10 years in Wishek, worked for Curt's Dairy for 11 years and worked for Northern Improvement out of Bismarck. 

Delbert loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycles.   He was an active member of the Dakota Riders Mandan Chapter.  He loved spending time and visiting with people at Curt's Service; taking care of his 2 grandsons was a main priority for him.  He loved and was proud of his children.  Delbert married Irma L Hernandez in December of 1993 in Wishek.

He is survived by his mother, Deloris Diegel, Wishek, ND; 4 children, Elizabeth (Mitch) Hogue, Bismarck, ND; Olivia, David, and Dahlia Diegel, all of Wishek, ND; 4 grandchildren, Gabriel and Delmer Joe, Nevaeh and Gavyn; 1 brother, Dale (Julie) Diegel, Sunburst Mt.; Irma, his soulmate; and many nieces and nephews who will love him always.

 He was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother, Douglas and 1 sister Dixie.

 Funeral Service-10: 00 AM Saturday May 4, 2019 in St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wishek, ND with Rev.  Kristen Schwan, pastor officiating.

Visitation- 6-7pm Friday at the Church and 1 hour before services on  Saturday

Prayer Service- 7:00 PM Friday evening May 3, 2019 at the Church in Wishek
