Dayton Ward

Dayton D Ward of Andover, MN passed away peacefully at home on Tues, Aug 8^th at the age of 83.

Dayton was born on Dec 30, 1939 in ND and raised by Jacob and Elizabeth Schweinforth. He joined the Navy in 1957 and married Lillian Kleingartner on Aug 13, 1961. They moved to the Twin Cities where he worked at Ford Motor Company.

Dayton is survived by his wife, Lillian Ward, daughters, Lonna (Jeff) Cosman; Julie (Craig) LaBelle; and Sue Ward. He was a beloved grandpa to 7 grandkids and 8 great grandkids.

He was preceded in death by Jacob and Elizabeth Schweinforth and Pauline Schweinforth.

A celebration of life will be held at Lord of Life Church in Ramsey, MN on Fri, Aug 18^th. Visitation at 1:00pm, Service at 2:00pm.

Dayton will be laid to rest at the Gackle Cemetery in Gackle, ND.  The service will be held on Tues, Aug 22^nd at 2:00pm.

A Lunch will follow at the Gackle American Legion.
