Clara Kapp

Clara Kapp, 83, Medina, ND died Sunday January 5, 2020 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown, ND.

Clara Alice Peterson was born June 8, 1936 at the family farm home near Crystal Springs, ND, the daughter of Axel and Anna (Hanson) Peterson. She attended the local rural school where she received her elementary education.

She and William Kapp were married July 12, 1958. They lived in Tappen until 1960 when they moved to Medina where Bill worked Construction. In 1970 they moved to a farm 2 miles north of Crystal Spring where they also raised cattle. Clara was a stay at home mom. They retired in 1995

Clara and Bill enjoyed visiting neighbors, fishing, family gatherings with watching their grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.

Clara is survived by her husband, Bill, Jamestown, ND; 1 son, Randy (Melinda) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND; 6 grandchildren, Brian Kapp, Ypsilanti, ND, Sarah (Dave) Perkins, Fargo, ND, Michael (Tia) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND, Carrie Kapp, Jamestown, ND, Matthew (Samantha) Kapp, Salem, OR, Corey (Alexa) Kapp, Brookings, SD; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 brother, Arthur Peterson, Denver, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Melvin and Kenneth, 2 sisters, Helen and Pearl.
