Bonnie Henke, 69, Jamestown, ND died Friday June 20, 2014 at the Eventide at Hi-Acres under the care of Hospice.
Bonnie Schauer was born March 29, 1945 at Napoleon, ND, the daughter of Bert and Ada (Schuchard) Schauer. She attended school and graduated from Napoleon High School in 1962. She moved to Jamestown where she worked at Ekonomy Cleaners.
She and Dan Henke were married January 4, 1963 at Jamestown, ND. They made their home in Jamestown. In 1982 she became manager of One Hour Martinizing and worked there until retiring in 2007. Following the death of her husband in 2012 she continued to live in Jamestown.
She is survived by her children, Dawn (Mike) Zeiszler, and Dwight Henke; 4 grandchildren, Jon, Mercedes, Lacey Zeiszler and Britana Giroux, all of Jamestown, ND; 1 great grandchild, Ashley; 5 brothers and 6 sisters, Bob (Donna) Schauer, Bismarck, ND; Tom (Sandy) Schauer, Fargo, ND; Charles (Terry) Schauer, Sioux Falls, SD; Bert (Diana) Schauer, Mapleton, IA; Jerry Schauer, Mandan, ND; Arby Wolff, Miles City, MT; Lorraine Wolff, Superior, WI; Kathy (Don) Weaver, Skiatook, OK; Bernetta (Jerry) Schultz, Jamestown, ND; Linda (Curt) Michaelsohn, Wishek, ND; and Cindy (George) Bates, Hedgefield, SC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 1 sister, Margie.
