Obituary

Arlene Ebel, 90, Medina, ND died Wednesday May 31, 2017 at her home in Medina, ND.

Arlene Moser was born October 21, 1926 north of Cleveland, ND the daughter of Christ Moser and Bertha (Zimbelman) Moser. She received her elementary education at the local country school and grew to womanhood in the vicinity.

She and Arthur Ebel were married November 25, 1948 at Medina, ND. They made their home in Mobridge, SD where she worked with Arthur as a meat cutter and helped manage several Red Owl stores in the area. In1959 they moved to Napoleon, ND where they co-owned the Red Owl Store until1964. She also worked for the Medina School and Borth’s Store

Arlene was a member of the United Methodist Church in Medina, ND and played for the men’s choir there; she enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and embroidering.

Surviving are her children, Gary (Kate) Ebel, Grand Forks, ND; Randy Ebel, Devils Lake, ND; Lori Ebel, Medina, ND; one brother Eddie Moser and one sister Bonnie (Willis) Hofmann, both of Medina, ND. She will also be remembered by her special friends Barb Moser, the Reister family, Billy Pele Schak, Vinney Inglish, and Bernell Willams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers; Arnold and Marvin.
