Obituary

Alice Irion (Mayer), 80, Bismarck, ND died Saturday, June 25, 2016 at her home in Bismarck surrounded by her loving family.

Alice was born October 3, 1935 near Streeter, ND the daughter of Leonhardt and Carolina (Miller) Mayer. She grew up on the family farm and received her elementary education in the Streeter Public School System and graduated in 1953. Years later she took classes at Jamestown College.

She met and married Bill Irion and they made their home in Montana. She moved to Jamestown, ND and made a loving home for her family while she worked in both the Elementary School System and at Jamestown College until her retirement in 1995.

She is survived by her 2 children, Rodney (Dawn) Irion, Runaway Bay, TX; Carolyn (Kyle Kvislen) Kvislen, Bismarck, ND; her brother, Norbert (Sharon) Mayer, Bismarck, ND; and her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her 2 brothers.

Funeral Service- 10:00 AM Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Gackle
Burial - Gackle Cemetery, Gackle, ND

Visitation- 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM Thursday at the Haut Funeral Home in Jamestown, ND
