William E Kapp

William E. Kapp, 87, Jamestown, ND passed away early Saturday morning December 5, 2020 at Eventide in Jamestown, ND.

William was born August 27, 1933 at Napoleon, ND, the son of son of Jacob Kapp, Sr. and Mary (Gardner) Kapp. He grew up north of Crystal Springs, ND where he worked for various farmers.

William and Clara Peterson were married July 12, 1958. They lived in Tappen until 1960 when they moved to Medina where Bill worked Northern Improvement Construction as a heavy equipment operator. In 1970 they moved to a farm 2 miles north of Crystal Spring where they also raised cattle. They retired in 1995. He entered Eventide at Hi-Acres in 2019. Following the death of his wife January 5, 2020 he continued to live at Eventide.

Bill enjoyed visiting neighbors, fishing, family gatherings with watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren grow up.

He is survived by 1 son, Randy (Melinda) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND; 6 grandchildren, Brian Kapp, Ypsilanti, ND, Sarah (Dave) Perkins, Fargo, ND, Michael (Tia) Kapp, Crystal Springs, ND, Carrie Kapp, Jamestown, ND, Matthew (Samantha) Kapp, Salem, OR, Corey (Alexa) Kapp, Brookings, SD; 11 great grandchildren;

4 brothers and 2 sisters, Jake (Nona) Kapp, Dawson, ND, Ted Kapp, Tappen, ND, Larry (Connie) Kapp Dawson, ND, Linda Kapp, Tappen, ND, Karen Marzolf, Eldridge, ND and Dale (Teresa) Kapp, Dawson, ND, 1 brother-in-law, Oscar Hoffman and 1 sister-in-law, Linda Kapp.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 4 brothers, Walter, Eugene, Daniel and Clarence, 2 sister, Betty and Lorraine, 2 brothers-in-law, Ruben Binder and Donnie Marzolf.
