Dave Lee, 75, Jamestown, ND died Saturday, June 6, 2020 at his home in Jamestown.

Dave Vernon Lee came into this world June 29th, 1944 in Veblen, SD, the son of Lawrence and Ruby (Sampson) Lee.  He grew up on the family farm south of Geneseo, ND.  After graduation from Sargent Central in Forman ND he went on to get his degree from North Dakota State University and later earned his master’s degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. 

Dave and Marlys Bjur were married September 17, 1965 at Kulm, ND. He spent several years working at a ranch for delinquent boys in Iowa but most of his professional life he worked as a teacher in Cleveland ND and then in Jamestown ND. 

Family and friends will remember Dave as a passionate educator, a master woodworker, a lover of music and a dedicated husband and father.  If you could ask Dave how he would like to be remembered his answer would be, "A man of God".  The world has lost a man who loved the Lord and was a wonderful human being.

Dave is survived by his wife of 54 years Marlys, daughter Lisa (Steve), daughter Coleen (Jay), grandchildren Dakota, Kacie, Zachary and great grandson Todd; 1 brother, Carmen (Terry) Lee, 2 sisters, Helen Petteway and Joan (Ron) Sandness.

He was preceded death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
