Marlys Kalmbach

Marlys J. Kalmbach, 83, Jamestown, ND died Sunday morning March 10, 2019 at Ave Maria Village in Jamestown, ND.

Marlys Ruddy was born January 5, 1936 at Jamestown, ND the daughter of Harold J. Ruddy and Della (Harr) Ruddy.  She attended Franklin Elementary and Jamestown High School.

She and Les Kalmbach were married October 26, 1957 at Webster, SD.  They made their home in Jamestown where she worked as a cashier for Red Owl Grocery and later for the Gibson Store.  Following the death of her husband in 1972 she has continued to reside in Jamestown.

Surviving are many cousins and a special friend, Karen Lien, Jamestown, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, James and Robert.
